Meet KrystalHey there! I'm so glad you're here.
Because if you've found your way to this little corner of the internet, there's a good chance you've been carrying a dream for a while. Maybe it's a business, or a book, better health or a new idea. Maybe it's finally trusting yourself enough to make the decision you've been avoiding—and to stick to it.
Whatever it is, I want you to know something before we go any further.
I believe you can do it.
Become the woman who executes her dreams.
I know that's a bold statement considering we've just met. But I've spent more than twenty years teaching people, and one thing has remained true throughout my career: people are capable of far more than they believe.
When I was six years old, I remember watching classmates struggle to learn how to read. I wasn't judging them. I was fascinated by them. Somewhere in my little first-grade brain, I couldn't understand why they couldn't do something I knew they were capable of doing. That curiosity eventually became a career in education, and years later it became the foundation of everything I teach today.
I've spent my life believing in people. And I always had a keen ability to bring out the dreams of others.
There was just one problem. For a long time, I didn't believe in myself.
I earned a Bachelor's Degree, then a Master's Degree. I built a career in education, raised four incredible children, and eventually found my way into entrepreneurship. From the outside, I looked successful. But inside, I felt overwhelmed, confused and frustrated. I ruminated A LOT even though I had all of the following:
Ideas.
Galore.
Ambition.
Extraordinary.
Dreams.
Big, far and wide.
All of those are great but the one thing I didn't have was consistency.
I'd become excited about a new business or project, work tirelessly for a few weeks, and then lose momentum. Eventually I'd convince myself the goal wasn't right, the timing wasn't right, or maybe I simply wasn't the right person. Then I'd start over. Again. And again.
Between 2006 and 2015, I launched four different businesses. Ironically, every one of them made a profit. The problem was that my self-doubt played a never-ending loop in my mind. And because I couldn't understand why, I judged myself to the point of paralysis most days.
The soundtrack in my head
“What's wrong with me?”
“Why does everyone else seem to know what they're doing?”
“Why can't I just follow through?”
“Why don't I know my purpose?”
Looking back, I can see something now that I couldn't see then. I wasn't failing because I lacked ability. I was struggling because I did not trust myself.
Everything changed in 2018.
That’s the year I decided to become
disciplined.
Not motivated. Not inspired. Disciplined.
At the time, I didn't know what being disciplined meant. I just knew I couldn't continue living the way I had been living. So I did what most overthinkers do: I studied. I read everything I could about discipline, habits, performance, and productivity.
Then I built a morning routine and started exercising every day. I organized my life. I began documenting the journey on Instagram under the hashtag Mastering Discipline®.
And to my surprise, for the first time in my life, I followed the same daily schedule. I was productive in business. I consistently followed through. I lost nearly twenty-five pounds. I grew a real estate business. I started coaching and I wrote a book.
Most importantly, I finally felt mental relief after being all over the place for two decades.
Until my life got complicated again. That's when I discovered something that completely changed the focus of this work. Lack of discipline was never the root problem. The women I worked with weren't struggling because they lacked intelligence, ambition, or potential.
The greatest obstacle between women and their dreams isn't a lack of potential. It's self-doubt.
You don't trust yourself to choose a dream and stick to it. To pursue it. To make decisions. To follow through. And when we lose trust in ourselves, self-doubt takes over—and discipline becomes nonexistent.
Today
I coach the woman first. Then I coach the strategy.
Once I realized this about myself and other women, I dug even deeper. I studied inner thoughts, causes of negative thinking, and the mental blocks we experience. I learned to uncover the real person underneath the doubt and fear. Once that happens, we can build a different self, consistent habits, and realized dreams.
I don't just teach discipline. I teach women how discipline is created—slowly and methodically. Because discipline isn't something you're born with. It's something you create as you learn who you are underneath the self-doubt.
That's why my work combines identity, mindset, purpose, vision, systems, and disciplined action. Because if you don't trust yourself, no strategy works.
I believe women are capable of extraordinary things.
I believe self-doubt is never the end of the story.
I believe discipline can be created.
And I believe sometimes all a woman needs is someone to believe in her long enough for her to begin believing in herself.
I'm Krystal. When I'm not writing, coaching, teaching, selling real estate, or creating new ideas for Mastering Discipline®, you'll usually find me reading, practicing yoga, laughing far too hard at something sarcastic, or spending time with my four children—the greatest joy of my life.
